Howard Manor
Howard Manor Building
In 1950, Howard Manor opened its doors as an inexpensive place to live for Howard affiliates such as graduate students, hospital workers, faculty, retirees and more.
In 2024, we’ve revitalized Howard Manor into a vibrant, refreshed, living space for our graduate students, faculty and staff, and the broader DC Community. The renovated Howard Manor building features one-bedroom and two-bedroom units that are equipped with stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, luxury plank flooring, and other key features that make this luxury living for its residents. This project is about preserving the legacy of our campus, while offering unique living opportunities for the Howard community and surrounding neighborhood through an unprecedented partnership between Howard University Real Estate Development and Capital Asset Management (REDCAM) team and Amazon
